Breathe Deeply! Relieving and Preventing Stress!
Stress plays different roles in our life, which can have both positive and negative effects. We cannot avoid all stress or stressors, but we can find healthier ways to relieve and prevent stress and stressors. Finding ways to reduce and prevent stress can increase our overall health, productivity, and joy. This workshop will share healthy techniques and tips to mitigate stressors and to prevent stress, particularly stress pile up.

Learn, Heal, & Grow! Coping with Grief and Loss
Death and loss can shake our core and profoundly impact our life. Death and loss can occur due to various causes such as illness, natural disasters, separations, divorce, evictions, COVID-19, loss of employment, community violence or other traumatic events. There is universality and uniqueness to each person’s grieving process. This workshop will provide tips for youth and families on how to work through difficult emotions and develop healthy coping strategies.
These sessions are facilitated by Rajni Shankar-Brown, Ph.D., an internationally renowned and award-winning community-engaged educator, scholar, artist, poet, author, and human rights activist.
