This two-part series is designed for ELD Coordinators who manage the various components of ELD program implementation and administration. During this session, we will take an in-depth look at procedures related to EL identification, placement, assessment, reclassification, monitoring, and reporting. Additional topics that may be covered include LIEP design and evaluation, ELD Curriculum requirements and development, language growth and attainment targets, communicating with parents and families, fostering collaboration, and facilitating an equitable and inclusive school climate for ELs and their families.
Format: Two synchronous 2.5 hour online (Zoom) Sessions

Intended Audience: The target audience for this workshop is new ELD coordinators, but it can be a helpful refresher for returning coordinators as well. Some content may be relevant for ESL Specialists who share responsibilities for the LIEP implementation.
